Kazoo Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Hi Team Been using the official Publisher this evening for the first time, working on a file I had been playing with during the beta. I've been trying to hyperlink text in a list by selecting the text, going to text>interactive>insert hyperlink then choosing URL from the drop down, pasting the URL then clicking ok. Basically each time I complete this action, or just before, Publisher keeps quitting. It never did this in the beta testing- what's wrong? I am using High Sierra 10.13.6 on a MBP (late 2011) Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB with 16 GB memory. There's no unusual fan activity, so my processor isn't overworking. Everything has run smoothly on Publisher for me up until this point. Thanks K Quote
nwhit Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Just used it multiple times the last couple days on a pub with no problem. Be sure to see if this relates to the Performance pref. See if you have Metal compute on. Might possibly be an issue for your older Mac. Kazoo Posted June 26, 2019 Author Posted June 26, 2019 Have checked those settings (Metal compute) and they are actually greyed out on my version of Publisher? Quote
Staff Jon P Posted June 28, 2019 Staff Posted June 28, 2019 Does it matter what you paste in? Is it any paste that causes it? Does the happen when you click OK after pasting, or just after pasting? Quote Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com
