I'm new to this world but willing to learn. I'm considering jumping into Designer but I'm wondering, "is there a way to hand draw art work old fashioned way with designer and then fill, color, tweek, etc?"

Thanks!

Hi,

You can do a lot of that kind of real drawing work in the Pixel Persona within Designer, having a drawing tablet if your on the desktop makes it easier:

Paint Brush Tool

Flood Fill Tool

Drawn selections

Smudge tools

There are a lot more tutorials on Youtube if you do a search for Affinity Designer Pixel persona.

It would be good if @DWright were to let us know which particular video he was referring to.
