How to create this vector pattern fill?

Hi,

I've imported a PDF which has a pattern vector fill. How does one create this inside Affinity Publisher?

It seems this shouldn't even be supported yet it works.

The object has a bitmap fill, not a vector fill. You can check this by selecting the object & switching to the Fill Tool. On the Context Toolbar, the first item will say "Context: Fill" & the second one will say "Type: Bitmap." With the object & Fill Tool selected, you should see the control handles for the bitmap fill below & to the left of the object.

Well for a real vector pattern follow this tutorial, though you don't have symbols in APub as in Designer, you can use a copy of shapes or lines in APub instead.
