DM1 Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 The video shows inpainting by placing stroke across screen followed but tap and hold until red appears. In the first instance there is a significant pause after the stroke is completed and before the line is drawn. But, if we touch screen and wait a second until the red spot, dragging the inpainting line shows immediately. 9FC59AB1-A3DD-4E3D-9CAA-B56F39AD81C9.MOV Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). Staff Chris B Posted June 11, 2019 Staff Posted June 11, 2019 Hey DM1, The Mac has just received a beta which addresses some Inpainting performance issues. I'm not too sure when this will make its way to the iPad version but I will ask. I'll update you soon Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials

Staff Chris B Posted June 12, 2019 Staff Posted June 12, 2019 Not sure if you've seen the build in Testflight for Photo yet but it seems to have improved for me. Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
DM1 Posted June 12, 2019 Author Posted June 12, 2019 @Chris B Hi Chris, unfortunately I’m still experiencing significant delays in the new beta. What is interesting is that a Sony 40mb .arw raw file becomes a 500mb .afphoto File after developing and tone mapping. I thought the afphoto Files were highly compressed? The file size may be why the delay is experienced? Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen).
