walt.farrell Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 In 1.7, Designer has inherited the improved text layout functionality from Publisher. Use of the Typography functions is now dependent on your chosen font supporting the functions for the characters you've selected. Previously (1.6) if the font did not support the function Designer would fake it by scaling and positioning the characters so they appeared approximately correct. However, that could result in improper appearance if you had a mix of characters that supported the function (which would use the font's builtin support) and characters that didn't (which would be faked). Now (1.7), the typography works for the characters the font supports, and for any other characters you need to use the "S" box a couple of lines higher in the dialog, which will allow you to specify the use of the "faked" superscript and subscript functions. pozar Posted June 6, 2019 Author Posted June 6, 2019 Thank you very much, I'll try to understand. But as you can see, any try with "S" button have no result. Only way is to change size and baseline position of the mark ® by the hand. Font is Roboto... Quote
MikeW Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Try setting the Figure Position back to Normal and then, if it gets deselected, use the S* button again. Sean P 1 Quote
