brb2
I have Affinity Designer on my Mac desktop, does my license allow me to install it on my MacBook laptop also? If so how do get the install. I didn't keep the Affinity *.dmg file. Bob
Staff Callum Posted May 23, 2019 Staff Share Posted May 23, 2019 Hi Brb2, Welcome to the forums As long as you are the primary user of the MacBook you are more than welcome to install it on that! To re download the app all you need to do is log into your account on our website and download the app from your Downloads and Product Keys section. brb2
Thanks for the information. I went to affinity.serif.com but I'm having a bit of a problem finding where to log into my account on your web site. Is this the correct web site? I'm not even sure I've been there and/or logged in before.
Alfred
If you purchased the app through the Mac App Store (MAS) you need to install it from there. Log in to the MAS from your MacBook using the same Apple ID as you used for the original purchase, and then go to the ‘Purchased’ tab and click on the installation link or button for Affinity Designer. FWIW, System Preferences > App Store has among other options the "Automatically download apps purchased on other Macs" option you can enable that does exactly what it says it does.
