heyitsdiggy
I'm a little confused about the way live filters work now. From what I can see when in the filters studio I can check the add live filters button and it will only show me filters that are available as live filters. This is great and really useful but..... Previously we could add a filter make some adjustments and then decide if we want it to be a live filter by pressing a button to convert it. Quite often I find I don't really know until I've made the initial adjustments if I would like to use a live filter or not. I can't see a way of converting to a live filter once I've picked my filter, am I just missing something obvious or is this just an adjustment to my workflow I need to start making. DM1
I'm confused too. We were previous warned that converting normal filters to live filters were memory intensive. Is this the case with supplied live filters or did it relate only to converted filters? Access to Live filters was made available ain Macros in the old version. Is this the replacement? In fact if you load the live filter macros in they appear to work exactly the same. To revert to a non-live filter, select the filter layer and select merge down which reverts to a normal destructive filter as usual. So workflow is reversed, always use live and then remove when done for me. DM1 1 My dad always told me, a bad workman always blames their tools…. Just waiting for Ronny Pickering…..
