New Pixel Layer Inside a Group Bug

Recommended Posts

Hey! While working on a project in Affinity Photo 1.6.7 I noticed a weird bug, the same happens in the latest beta build. In order to avoid too many words I attached a video.

Hi dgtrv,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
As soon as you add a pixel layer to the group the effect of the adjustments become limited to the pixel layer inside the group even if it doesn't contain any data (no matter the blend mode). Affinity Photo differs from Photoshop here. Currently this is working as intended.

Thank you MEB! Somehow I didn't notice it, although I've been using Affinity for half a year now. So the only workaround is to copy a layer mask to another group and work on pixel layers?
