Euclide
Good evening everyone I am in pixel mode with the pixel brush, I drew 3 subjects and I would like to select only one. With the arrow n ° 1 I can only select the 3,of them, not one. How to do it ? Thank you
Staff MEB Posted January 30, 2019 Staff Share Posted January 30, 2019 Hi Euclide, Welcome to Affinity Forums If you draw all the three objects/subjects in the same pixel layer (see the Layers Studio) they are not independent objects in the sense that you can't move each one independently from the others. For that you would have to draw each one in its own pixel layer. To create a new pixel layer tap the plus icon on the top of the Layers Studio and select Pixel Layer then start drawing on it. What you can do now is to use the Freehand Section Tool in Pixel Persona to draw a marquee around one of the objects, then tap the ellipsis icon on the top left of interface (still in Pixel Persona) and select Cut. Go to the same ellipsis menu again and select Paste. The object you cut to the clipboard is now on its own (independent) layer. Repeat the process for the second subject/object and you will end up with each one on its own layer. DM1
Are you using Affinity Photo or Affinity Designer? If Designer, Select Pixel Persona. Here you see 3 colours painted on one layer. I select a colour , cut, then paste to create a seperate layer. Repeat on next colour. Now I have 3 layers with seperate colour on each. 9EB9B514-AE69-4505-B3F2-022267EDA561.MP4 Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen).
