Kheewz
Hello! Is it normal to have my vector's edges jagging when I put something into it as shown in the uploads below? Is there any way to solve this?

Kheewz
Oh, that solves a lot, Jimmy. Thanks! I still don't see it super smooth, but much better than before. Is there any other config that influences this?
JimmyJack
Hmmm, maybe try the setting two above that... "View Quality"?
Kheewz
It's already in the best option. I tried both, but no difference in this aspect.
Staff Gabe Posted January 18, 2019 Staff Share Posted January 18, 2019 Hi both, That's just anti-alias. Does it occur at 100% zoom? Thanks, Gabe.
Kheewz
This is how it looks like at 100%, after "Use precise clipping"
Staff Gabe Posted January 22, 2019 Staff Share Posted January 22, 2019 Is that a screenshot, or a slice/exported file?
Kheewz
That's a screenshot
Staff Gabe Posted January 23, 2019 Staff Share Posted January 23, 2019 I would say that is perfectly normal. If you attach the file I can have a look for you.
Staff MEB Posted January 23, 2019 Staff Share Posted January 23, 2019 Hi Kheewz, Welcome to Affinity Forums This is also expected if you are overlapping shapes that share the same edge(s) - which seems the case with your design. With overlapping edges the antialiasing isn't as smooth as if there was just a single object. There's isn't much you can do in this case other than build (when applicable) the object in a different way (using a single clipping shape or mask to set/define the cuts/form for the overlapped shapes instead of letting them describe the desired form directly (not sure I'm being clear here).
