RangeRooney Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 I’m interested in creating a shadow under the yellow line, so it looks like it is a pass going up into the air. So a small, close shadow at the beginning and end of the line, and a more diffuse, distant shadow under the middle portion of the line. Is there an easy way to do this? With these, I’d like to make it look like the players are standing on the yellow disks, so I need to remove the yellow over the players legs or torso. Is there an easy way to do this? Quote
Staff Gabe Posted January 17, 2019 Staff Posted January 17, 2019 Hi @RangeRooney, There is no easy(automated) way to do this. Both would have to be manual. The in your first example, you would have to manually fade it / blur it / etc to suit your needs. On the second one, you would have to mask it around the players' legs. DM1 Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 Fairly simple to do a contiguous Selection on grass, invert and make copies. You now have layers with just players. Create a yellow disc for each player or group. Drag the inverted copy of player layer and drop on the disk layer. Move disc as required. Repeat as required. Add a shadow to disk too if you wish with Fx. Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen).
