I tried to install Affinity Photo Demo (1.6.5.135) both on my Desktop machine as on my laptop also, BOTH without success.
Starting the ...exe file will result in no activities. No error message and no additional information.
I tried to follow similiar problem solutions discussed in this forum, but no success.
Any advice how to get running the installlation file ?

Thanks

Affinity only works on 64 bit OS. I'm afraid your 32 bit Windows is not compatible.

It would be helpful if the installer could tell the user about this before it bombs out!

Agreed. Version 1.7 installers will do this (as they did before a re-write which broke this behaviour).
