On the mac in photo you can do a selection on the background and then delete it. But on the ipad I can't seem to find that option.

I can only hide the background with a mask.

Is there a way to delete the background I selected on the ipad?

There may well be a less clunky way to do it, but one way would be to invert the selection (so that everything except the background is selected) and then return to the Photo persona and invoke the ‘Duplicate’ command. Hide the original pixel layer to see the effect.

Hi both,

You do not need to duplicate it. Make the selection, go back to the Photo Persona, tap-hold on the selection to bring up the pop-up menu and select "Delete".

Thanks,

Gabe.

Thank you, worked pefrectly
