KipV Posted December 4, 2018 Posted December 4, 2018 I used to use a shortcut to get into the develop persona (command+shift+d ?) but it doesn't seem to be working anymore. Did that go away? Quote New Internet Book Project | Another New Website Project

Did that go away? That's odd There is no shortcut for that in the Windows version. 1.6.5 Still, it is easy enough to set one Quote Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.
KipV Posted December 4, 2018 Author Posted December 4, 2018 It turns out something else is interfering which is what I would have guessed. Probably a new 1.7 feature has taken that shortcut. There might be some other shortcut for develop in 1.6 Windows since Windows doesn't have a command key. Quote New Internet Book Project | Another New Website Project

Indeed, it's Ctrl on a PC, not Cmd but other than that they all seem to be the same. However, the shortcut box for Develop Persona is definitely empty. Quote Windows PCs. KipV Posted December 4, 2018 Author Posted December 4, 2018 If you type control+shift+R into the box I bet it will stop you in 1.7. It will probably work in 1.6 Quote New Internet Book Project | Another New Website Project

FWIW, if I click the "Reset" button in Affinity Photo 1.6 or in the 1.7 beta to set all the shortcuts back to the factory defaults, there are no keyboard shortcuts for switching to any of the Personas, so if you are using ⇧⌘R for that in 1.6, you must have set it up as a custom shortcut yourself. But like @toltec mentioned, ⇧⌘R is the default for Photo Persona's Filters > Distort > Lens Distortion menu item, both in v1.6 & the 1.7 beta. That is why you see the yellow warning triangle in 1.7 -- just hover the pointer over it & it will show the conflict is with Lens Distortion. If you are not seeing the same thing in 1.6, it means you must have changed or removed the Lens Distortion keyboard shortcut in that app yourself. You could do the same thing in the 1.7 beta to eliminate the conflict, or just use some other shortcut for switching to the Develop Persona that doesn't conflict with any of the others. Neither app uses ⌥⌘D (alt-CMD-D) for anything by default, so that would be a logical choice. It should work unless you have set it as a custom shortcut for something else. KipV Posted December 4, 2018 Author Posted December 4, 2018 I must have forgotten about adding that shortcut. Going to the develop persona is usually the first thing I do so it made sense to set it up that way. Quote New Internet Book Project | Another New Website Project
