imagegod Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 Hi All: According to Filter Forge, only Affinity 1.5 supports Filter Forge 8 (it's newest iteration). Assuming this is true, is there any way to keep two different Affinity's on my computer: Affinity 1.5, and the most up-to-date version? If that's not possible, are there any other work-arounds for Filter Forge 8 and the most up-to-date Affinity? Many thanks! Quote
Alfred Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 We don’t need workarounds, we need Serif to fix whatever they broke in version 1.6! Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.5.1 (iPad 7th gen)
imagegod Posted November 23, 2018 Author Posted November 23, 2018 I see...very good to know! Filter Forge is a terrific plug-in and absolutely deserves up-to-date support in Affinity. Unless told otherwise, I'll assume there's nothing I can do to help motivate Serif to fix that functionality. Thanks for your help, very much appreciated! Quote

Filter Forge Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 It is amazing to read such a feedback: On 11/23/2018 at 11:15 AM, firstdefence said: Once you have filter forge you wonder how your life was ever complete without it lol! Thank you. AND while our developers try to solve this official support problem with Serif, there's one nice and simple workaround: copy and paste to use FF and AP together. firstdefence 1 Quote
