VectorCat
I (probably others?) go through a lot of gyrations trying to place/import files into Designer. The out-of-the-box choices are: iCloud or Photos. Files isn’t invited to the party. Why? Can there be more paths into AD with less fussing and diddling? Thank you! If you tap on Open from Cloud or Import from Cloud This will access the Files app to get files from your iPad, etc. Below I can open files stored by Adobe Acrobat, Designer or Photo. or did you want something else ? VectorCat
OK..good to know thank you. It doesn’t seem intuitive, but now that I know, I know. I appreciate your sharing that bit. It sounds familiar, but it’s been awhile since I placed a file into AD/iOS, though I use AD/iOS almost every day!
Peren
Hi I have a similar question. I am trying to get photos from ipad/iCloud photos in affinity photo. When selecting “import from Photos” I can se 5 of my albums but not the one I have the photos I want to edit? I have tried to brow thru but it is hopeless. How can I get to select from all my albums. I would also be a good feature if I cloud directly from photos select the photo and chose to edit in affinity. This option is available for many other apps... Open photos and select your image. Tap the Share icon. Tap shortcuts and select Open in. Tap Copy to Photos. Done. Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen).
