Stylistic Alternate problem.

When I use the stylistic alternates (on the typography panel) on the same time that one of the Capital, the alternatives letter don't change (see pictures).

The result that you get will depend entirely on the design of the font. It looks as though there’s no small caps mapping for the ell with a tail in this particular font.

It’s just the way the font is designed. As I said in my previous post, there’s no small caps mapping for the ell with a tail: the Stylistic Alternates rules cause ‘l.1’ (i.e. ell with a tail) to be substituted for the straight ‘l’, but the Small Capitals rules only cover the ‘l’ (ignoring the ‘l.1’ variant) so because the ‘salt’ rules are applied before the ‘smcp’ rules the ell with a tail is left unchanged.
