Has anyone been able to get the trial version of the NIK plugins from dxo to work correctly with Affinity on the Mac? I can get it installed as per the videos but when I start a NIK plugin it loads the image but hangs and locks up Affinity.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Most of the free google Nik plugins work, but with some quirks:

  • You may need to rasterise first to remove any clipping.
  • The plugin loads portrait images as landscapes.
  • The colours within Viveza are not accurate, although the output images are OK!
  • Multiple image HDR does not work.
