grain
Hey all. I did browse previous questions to see if this has been answered already but it seems not. i want to QUICKLY apply some effect or process to a photo, so as to reduce it to the most prominent contours. The end result should be a black and white ‘line drawing’ of sorts. Gradients are not necessary really, only a very minimal image of black lines where there are contrasts in the original image. I know I can trace the image with the pencil, but with my particular workflow, I’m hoping to be able to get a much faster way to do this step. Any help or tips very much appreciated! grain
Hey thanks for the suggestion but that removes too much information from the image. And at other settings it renders too much black. Needs to a less ‘high contrast’ method. A more advanced filter than that. I remember photoshop had a way of doing it but I can’t Remember what it was =(
Paul Mudditt
There are many macros about that automate the pencil drawing effect, they can’t be created on iPad but any created on desktop version can be easily imported and used on iPad version. . DM1
Just to be clear, the format needs to be .macros, not .macro. Apparently there are two methods of exporting macros from the desktop version and only one method results in macros that work on the iPad.
