FWIW, LeVitus mentioned in an earlier article that he was looking for a Photoshop replacement & why he was. At the time, he was not considering Affinity Photo as a replacement. He asked for other recommendations from his readers, which I assume is how Photo got added to the list. In the later article he said he finally picked Photo because as a "solopreneur" it did everything he needed the others did & more, & that it was better suited to what he did most often. Not super-detailed but that is the 'quick read' style his readers seem to expect from him.
