Alex_M
I have a pixel layer with 4 adjustment layers. How do I select only 2 of the adjustment layers? Once I click on one they all get selected along with the pixel layer. Aammppaa
Your adjustments are probably nested in the Mask slot of the pixel layer, which does make them tricky to select. Try nesting them as children of the pixel layer instead, which makes them selectable just like any other child layer. In this screenshot the Curves and Black and White adjustments are located in the mask slot, while Posterise and HSL are child layers. Note the subtle difference in the amount of indent (much easier to spot when both types exist side by side). You can drag adjustments between the two locations. I must admit that the practical use of the two different types of slot confuses me!?! IanSG
While they're child layers you can select the adjustments, one at a time, by clicking on its layer icon. If you need to select two at a time you'll need to drag them out so that they're no longer child layers. Alex_M
Thanks, Aammppaa! That was exactly what happened. I had put them inside the thumbnail of the layer which makes them act like masks when I should have put them in the name of the layer. Now I can select whichever child layer I want. I'll try to remember this slight but significant difference.
