Open recent

Recommended Posts

Hi!

Is it possible to make it so that The Open Recent function can have files that were created last time you used AD and Aph?

As it is right now You have to manually find the file if you created the file last time.

There might be a way to worl around this?

Thnaks

I have 10.

But I dont think I was clear in my original post.

When I create a file, that file have to be opened once after saving first time. Before that it doesnt appear in "recent files".

But just now I noticed that it does appear in the Recently used files in the  meny at the top. So its not really a big problem anymore.

Thanks MEB!!

MEB,

I've managed to reproduce the issue on Yosemite only. Maverick works perfectly fine. On both machines, the file does indeed appear instantly in the recently opened files list when the document is saved or first opened. But it seems the file disappears from the list when the application restarts or the system restarts. Can you see if it happens to you on Yosemite as well?

Yeah, I'm useing Yosemite.

But its seems to be running fine after I restarted the mac some hours ago.

When I now restarted AD it was gone from the recent list again. BUT this was the second time I opened the file after creating it. The first time I opened it, it was in the Recent list

Andrew,

Yes it disappears from the File->Open Recent... list after an application restart in Yosemite. If then i restart the system it reappears there again.

Thanks for trying this MEB. I've noticed a few of these bug report pop up recently, so I'm glad we have a way of reproducing this - I wonder if it is isolated to Yosemite or this is just some unfortunate coincidence.
