enable perspective transforming for Text Tool

Recommended Posts

It would be nice to be able not only to scale and shear but also to transform perspectively or free transform Text and Vector objects.

So to say, yes. But without the need to rasterize the layer befor using it.
And in Designer I was'nt even ablo to find any way to "warp" or perspectively transform a Text layer...

Hi maxen,
Currently Affinity Designer doesn't have any vector based distortion tools. The Mesh warp/distort tool is already planned for the 1.x cycle of the app as a free update but i have no info regarding perspective distortion tools.

You planned it now since over four years! It's a very necessary tool!!!

We are only at 1.8 so far, so it will probably take some time :-)
