TomM1 Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Is there a way to set Affinity Photo grid spacing to percentage as one can in PS? Quote website Mac mini (2018) 3.2 GHz Intel Core i7 64 GB • Radeon Pro 580 8 GB • macOS Monterey
Staff Callum Posted June 21, 2018 Staff Posted June 21, 2018 Hi TomM1, There is no way to do this I'm afraid. Thanks Callum Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
R C-R Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 (edited) There is a workaround of sorts for this that you might find useful: if you know the document width, you can enter that in the first axis Spacing field, followed by "*x" (multiply by x), where x is the decimal fraction equivalent of the percent. So for example, if you want the grid spaced at 50% of an 11 inch wide document, enter 11*.5 in that field & press return. It will be converted to "5.5 in" in the field & the spacing will be set to that. The field will also accept division operations so 11/2 would do the same thing. It will also accept other unit abbreviations like "px" or "mm" if you type them in the field explicitly, but as long as you are working in the document's current units you can leave the unit value out.
