How to brush out redness in eyelids?

Recommended Posts

Hi @pipkato,

An easy way would be to create a basic shape with the complementary colour( blue-cyan) to cover the whole area, set a blending mode ( soft light or colour) with very low opacity,  create a blank mask layer, parent it to the shape, and start to brush around the eyes on the mask layer to reveal the colour.

Thanks,

Gabe.

Hello GabrielM.

I'm afraid I don't have enough experience with Affinity Photo to understand all that.  Any chance you could suggest a tutorial or tutorials that deal with those techniques.

Thanks!

Try this then.

Select the Colour Replacement Brush Tool

Set the Opacity on the Context Toolbar to around 20% to 30%

Press and hold down the Alt key and click and drag (slightly) on a non-red bit of skin.

Brush over the red.
