jackamus
Its me again! How do keep adding colours to the 'Recent' pallet without the last one dropping off the end? Is there a way to create an ongoing working pallet? Quote If voting made any difference it wouldn't be allowed! Rules are for the guidance of wise men and the obedience of fools. Select the Eyedropper Tool Hold down the Control key and click on a colour. That automatically creates a new Palette, Control + click on another colour and that will add that to the Palette. etc etc Here I ctrl + clicked four times with the Eyedropper and got a four colour palette. You can right click on individual swatches and delete then, if you want. Polygonius 1 Quote Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions. firstdefence
You can create a palette which is basically an empty file waiting for colour information. In this gif I created a document palette to use within the document, it is specific to the document, there are 4 types of palette you can create and I have added some info about them on the left-hand side of the gif, this info is in the help file within Affinity Designer (ADe) As a rule I generally create a document palette because the chances of me using those combination of colours again are slim. I will also create a second document palette and if there aren't too many colours I will create tint, shade and tones of the colours I have used. This can be done anytime you have the document open and it's not a "have to" just the way I work sometimes.
