Export to *.jpg without meta data per default...

Recommended Posts

Hi,

when exporting an image (e.g. *jpg) automatically the meta data is included in the file. I can change that with the "more" option in the export-dialog.

Is there a chance to set this option to NOT to include the meta data per default? I don't want the meta data inside my images and now I have to disable it EVERY time...

Thanks...

Hi der-mathias,

You can't set that as disabled by default but you can create a Preset (More>Manage Presets>Create) with that option disabled and then just select the Preset from the Export Window.

You can also remove the meta data within AP via the View > Studio > Exif tab

This also works within a macro so you could just batch process (within AP) all your required project images to remove all meta data so you don't have to remember to do so individually when exporting your images later on.

This also means you do not have to set up individual presets should you wish to export in different formats such as JPGs, PNGs, PSDs, etc
