Derrick Phillips Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 Whenever I make a new mask layer and go to edit it, it gives me a very artistic brush that is no good for editing masks. Is it possible to change the default brush in Photo for iPad? thanks Quote
Staff DWright Posted February 16, 2018 Staff Posted February 16, 2018 In the Brushes studio which brush is currently selected. Quote
Derrick Phillips Posted February 16, 2018 Author Posted February 16, 2018 I’m not exactly sure which brush it is. But you can see it in the screenshot. What i’d Like to do is have it default to a simple brush so I can edit/make a mask. Quote
DM1 Posted February 17, 2018 Posted February 17, 2018 Just tap the brushes studio on the right side of screen, select the 'basic' brush category and then select a round soft brush. You can reize to suit. You can assign any brush to a specific tool (such as paint brush or pixel brush etc), but doing so prevents that brush being available for other tools. It does have the benefit (currently) of showing the brush name in the brush studio brush menu. By default they are set to (Do not Set) ie. not locked to a specific tool. When you select a brush from the brushes studio, the brush is 'default' for any other tool that uses brushes. It remains default until you select another brush from the studio. You can changes brushes any time just by tapping the studio and picking another brush style. You don’t have to close the 'tool' you are using to change brush type or shape).
