I need to make a mockup of a very simple web site. In the forums I saw a link to affinitymockup.com - what happened to it?

I will sketch the web site with Affinity Designer - are there any good practices for creating more functional mockups or even click dummies?

I am rather interested in best practices to create web site mock ups in Affinity Designer. Any good advice anybody? Dos and Don'ts?

There are always rules regarding website design, the grid system is a helpful tool in laying out an aesthetically pleasing website, font use is important, as is colour. Understanding colour theory and how colour affects mood and perception is always worth knowing. With fonts, less is more, as the say goes and typography is a large subject but for a simple website use simple fonts with well laid out text, it makes all the difference.

 

Look at websites that you like and work out why you like them.
