JBTinoco
Hi, Does anyone know how to correct specific non limited areas on an image? For example, on the attached image there is a magenta toning on the left upper side of the white wall that I would like to correct and turn into the same overall white. I'm just started to get acquainted with Affinity Photo and I can't find how to do it. When working in Photoshop, I would select the "replace color" tool, choose that specific area and then would desaturate it or change it the way I want. I think there is no equivalent in AP, but is there anyway of getting to the same results? Thank you all for your help! João
Staff stokerg Posted January 24, 2018 Staff Share Posted January 24, 2018 Hi João and Welcome to the Forums, We do have a Colour Replacement Brush which would be great for this. I sampled the colour from lower down the wall and was able to get the attached results, using the Colour Replacement Brush.
JBTinoco
Thank you stokerg! This was really useful. Do you (or anybody) know if there is a good tutorial on the Colour Replacement Brush?

His method worked fine for me, Diane, so I wonder why it didn't work for you! I couldn't even fool it by leaving the picture as an 'Image' layer, because the Assistant stepped in and rasterized it for me when I started to use the Colour Replacement Brush Tool. DianeF
Well, today it worked for me, so maybe I was doing something wrong when I tried it before. I was also having multiple problems with my computer, now resolved, so perhaps I can blame it on that! DianeF
Of course! Though, in fairness, I did have to bring my computer to the Apple Store twice this week for a complete wipe and restore. I do think, however, that in this case, the fault was really mine, not my computer's.
