BiffBrown Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 Something I've just come across - ON1 Effects 10.5 is now free (sorry if this old news). https://www.on1.com/free/ It comes with plug-ins for Photoshop, Lightroom etc. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get the Photoshop plug-in to with Affinity Photo. Any ideas?? Regards, Biff Roger C 1 Quote
v_kyr Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 It is, the first or oldest 10.5.x version I've seen is over one year old (end 2016), in the meantime they just increased the x (version number) and the software slightly over time. - Related to Affinity Photo and ON1 Effects as a plugin, it doesn't work on either system so no need to try, instead use it stand-alone. BiffBrown Posted January 24, 2018 Author Posted January 24, 2018 Further to this: Does anyone have any information about writing Plug-ins for Affinity Photo? Biff Quote

v_kyr Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 AFAIK there aren't any informations available or ever published for the AP PS-Plug-ins interface here, NO dev code samples, NO tutorials, NO howto guidelines or whatever docs etc. BiffBrown 1 Quote ☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan ☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2
Staff MEB Posted January 25, 2018 Staff Posted January 25, 2018 Hi BiffBrown, Welcome to Affinity Forums Currently Affinity Photo only supports Photoshop plugins. To develop them you need to use the Photoshop SDK. As long as you are developing basic image filter plugins - Affinity Photo doesn't support any other plugin type nor automation - it should be able to run them. ON1 PHOTO 10 plugins are not compatible/not supported by Affinity Photo. BiffBrown and mykee 1 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
