Berkeley Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 if I buy affinity designer for my macbook but may change platform in about 3 months time - can I cancel using it on mac and get a windows version Quote
Staff Callum Posted January 6, 2018 Staff Posted January 6, 2018 Hi Berkeley, Welcome to the forums Unfortunately you would have to purchase a separate licence from the Affinity Store to use the app on Windows. There is no way to activate the trial you will need to uninstall it and download the full version of the app from the Purchases tab of the Mac App Store Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
Berkeley Posted January 8, 2018 Author Posted January 8, 2018 will the work I have done on the Trial be saved on my disk I asked you about please getting the discount because during your recent discount offer period I could not find how to purchase the program and had not got the info above Quote
Berkeley Posted January 8, 2018 Author Posted January 8, 2018 how much longer is my trial please let me know I need to save some work Quote
bor Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 Trial lasts for 10 days, and it's not subscription/cloud based, so noone can tell, when You installed software better than You Quote

They are just document files stored in whatever format you used when you saved them, in whatever location(s) you used when you did that. To anticipate your next question, the retail version can open files saved in the trial version.
