Searching with the Layer panel

Recommended Posts

At the moment, I'm duplicating a LOT of layers and for the sake of alignment perfection, I'm keeping a layer that's only purpose to help with alignment while I duplicate. The problem is then removing this layer after all the duplicates are created. I named it 'DELETE' so I could easily go back and delete it after I'm done duplicating as it creates unnecessary overlaps.

What would be awesome in a future version is the ability to search within the Layers panel so I could manipulate (delete in this case). Photoshop has this functionality and it's awesome.

Please consider adding it soon! :)

I add my +1 here. You need to be able to filter layers by name. Affinity is lagging behind the market in terms of automatisation of the workflow.

+ Yes, I agree. This is a very important function. Especially for web developers. The absence of this functionality significantly affects the speed of operation.
