Groomsey Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Is there a way to go back to the old font chooser? I've looked all over the settings * preferences and can't find a way to go back to the old font chooser. I have a 15' Macbook, but the new font chooser takes up a quarter of my screen and it's difficult to see what my font looks like on my design without having to reposition it. Quote
Staff Lee D Posted November 21, 2017 Staff Posted November 21, 2017 Hi Groomsey, Welcome to the forum. There isn't a way to switch back to the old font chooser, if you have the Character panel enabled you can undock it and reposition it on the screen. Quote
Fixx Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 I think this is not much different from earlier if Character panel is what font chooser means here. Quote

I think maybe it is the new dropdown font chooser in the Context toolbar with choices for all, recent, used, & favorites that is meant. It takes up a lot of screen space even on my 27" iMac. Fixx Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 OK, context toolbar font menu is wideish thing. It would help if user could choose to only one column to be visible if desired. That is, tick mark "Show Font Name/Font Preview/Both". Quote
