user_0815
Hi, I'm trying to create a drop shadow for an object. The available tools like Drop Shadow and Blur Filter are limited to 100 pixels. However, this is not enough since the object is roughly 5000 pixels. I created a solid coloured shape and stacked 7 live filters of Gaussian Blur to place it behind my object. This gives me roughly the effect I want. But the App gets sluggish and hangs repeatedly. I can't merge these layers. What is the best way to make a very large blur? Thanks! Madame
You can type in the amount of blur you want in the box beside the slider. user_0815
Ooops, why didn't I think of that!? Thanks a lot! The Affinity videos are very interesting and helpful. I was searching for Blur and Shadow so I didn't come across that one.
