philipt18
Is it intentional that clicking outside of a select does not deselect? I know I can use Command-D to deselect, it's just muscle memory for me click to deselect.
SalsaSteve
When using the Text tool, Command-D wouldn't work either, nor would clicking deselect in the menu. The only way out I could find was click on another tool?
greyscale
Ditto here. Layers > Deselect Layers is an option, but just clicking outside the selected object or outside the artboard with the Move tool is just so much easier. Command–D isn't working for me. Leftshark
Although the "bug" is being "fixed" I think it's a better practice to deselect with menu or keyboard instead of the mouse. Especially if you are zoomed in, with clicking it's too easy to accidentally select something else underneath.
