mike21
Presently it takes 42 seconds to load Affinity and 31 seconds to subsequently load a photo. My computer is Windows 10, 4 GB RAM, 3 GHz 2 core processor, an SSD hard drive with onboard graphics. Is the slow loading speed due to lack of a graphics card and if so, what is the minimum size RAM that would give acceptably quick loading. toltec
Do you have anti-virus software that is scanning the app? I have Bitdefender which slows loading down unless the apps are added to the trusted list (Whitelist) mike21 1 Quote Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions. mike21
I have installed build 1.6 and load time is now quite reasonable - 10 seconds to load the program and 4 seconds to load a jpg image. It loads an aphoto file produced with the previous version with no trouble so hopefully there will be no problems. Thank you and others for suggestions/solution.
