jackamus Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 How do I apply the line width 'Align' in the Beta version? If voting made any difference it wouldn't be allowed! Staff MEB Posted February 5, 2015 Staff Posted February 5, 2015 I believe you mean how to change the alignment of a stoke in a shape (it doesn't work for lines since there's no inside or outside concept there). Select the shape you want to change, go to the Width panel on the context toolbar, make sure you set a large width (just to make it clearly visible, otherwise may pass unnoticed), and click on the buttons in the Align section right below the slider on the same panel to select the type of alignment you want. jackamus Posted February 5, 2015 Author Posted February 5, 2015 Regarding line alignment, I'm doing an experiment to draw a helical gear using Beta. The Cog tool is very good but there is one extra adjustment that would make it perfect. All gears do not have flat sides to the teeth, they are always curved and an adjustment tool would complete it and maybe add a root radius adjustment as well.
