howdytom
Hi there, in Photoshop I am using the trim feature for white and transparent backgrounds a lot. To be specific, here's the Photoshop Workflow: Youtube Video example. Reference to my initial post So, please add: Trim to transparent or to a specific colour function in Photo. ProducerBoy
YES YES YES YES YES YES!!! This functionality is super-important to my workflow. I often have images from which I need to extract a sub-object and give it a transparent background. My ideal workflow: roughly select that object. Magic-wand select the background around it and hit DELETE to make transparent. And then ... the piece that can't currently be done ... "trim to transparent" (or trim all of one color if it was on a solid color) and -> BOOM, a nice image of just that object on a minimal transparent or colored background. howdytom
Xavez
Sorry for bumping this, but I thought it was better than starting a new topic. This is one of the features I probably miss the most in Affinity. It’s such a vital thing when preparing assets, to be able to easily cut away the transparent (or a specific colour for that matter) pixels from the image.
