PixelPest Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 I wished for more use of the Search... function of this forum: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/25846-packaging3d-mockups/ https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/29282-affinity-designer-how-to-make-perspective-like-in-promotional-video/ https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/29281-ad-perspective-distortion-as-shown-on-twitter/ etc. Cheers P. pedrojua 1 Quote
R C-R Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 Regarding searching the forum, since the site's search function can be a bit lacking, I usually use Google or Bing to search it. If you add a space & site:affinity.serif.com to the end of a search query with either search engine, the results are limited to this site. Getting results are much faster & since they use advanced search algorithms usually more complete & relevant. pedrojua 1 Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.6 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 All 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.7

That aside, the 'site:' search modifier in general searches can prove very useful at times. It certainly works not only with Google and Bing but also with Yahoo! and DuckDuckGo; it may well work with other major search engines, too. pedrojua 1 Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.5.1 (iPad 7th gen)
crabtrem Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 I know that demonstration/tutorial videos have been created in the past from things demonstrated in "introduction to" videos. This is a capability demonstrated, and has garnered enough interest, I would think the Affinity Staff would be working to create a video to cover this. The potential interest in what they have demonstrated is enormous. Quote
