Staff MEB Posted November 14, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 14, 2016 Hi IanSG, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) I'm not sure I understood you. What do you mean with exported files are not closed? When you export a file Affinity Photo saves/writes it to the folder you have chosen. What remains open is the original document but this is by design. The document is only closed when you explicitly close it. Am I missing something? A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
IanSG
Hi OK, try this - export an image as a PDF and, without doing anything else, try opening the PDF file. You'll get a message saying the file is open in another application. The exported file isn't closed until the image is closed in AP or another export is done. I've tried this with a few export formats and found the same issue. Cheers Ian G. AP, AD & APub user, running Win10
