Writing "É" with swiss-keyboard

Recommended Posts

I have Windows 10pro, french version. The keyboard-layout is swiss-french.

When writing "´" + E ("Acute accent" + capital "E") the result should be: É

In Affinity, the result looks like this: ´´E

Possible to change?

Thank you Thomas

I imagine that is done with autoreplace, which our software doesn't support yet. Nevertheless this is a reasonable request, but may come later on.

If your keyboard has an 'Alt Gr' key to the right of the space bar, you should be able to type vowels with acute accents by holding down that key while pressing and releasing the vowel key:

Alt Gr + Shift + e = É
