tiago1801
Hello, I want to use some layers of my work in another work. Is there any way to do that? Thanks in advance
Staff MEB Posted September 22, 2016 Staff Share Posted September 22, 2016 Hi tiago1801, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) You can select and copy the layers you want ( ⌘ (cmd) +C ) and paste them in another document ( ⌘ (cmd) +V ). Fixx
A key. You can also just drag&drop a layer from layer palette to other document.
Staff MEB Posted September 23, 2016 Staff Share Posted September 23, 2016 Hi tiago1801, It's a Mac key modifier. If you are on Windows press ctrl + C for copy and ctrl + V for paste. @Fixx, That only works on the Mac version in Separated mode. The windows version doesn't have that option (Separated Mode). tiago1801
@MEB Is there any shortcut to copy various layers at the same time?
Staff MEB Posted September 23, 2016 Staff Share Posted September 23, 2016 Select all the layers you want/need in the Layers panel (or in the canvas if you prefer) and do a copy (ctrl + C). It should copy all selected layers at once. You can select multiple layers in the Layers panel the same way as you select multiple files in a file manager window. How to select various in layer panel? I tried to hold Shift and down arrow or up arrow to select more than 1 layer and I failed. Is there any shortcut to do that? Madame
Hi.Select one layer, hold shift and select the last layer. All the layers in between will be selected. If you want to select several single layers, press ctr while selecting the layers you want. It's the same as for selecting various objects in Windows apps.
