As far as I can tell, Affinity 1.4.2 can not yet deal with Fuji .RAF files. Is there a plan to do so? I have been told it is already possible in beta versions of Affinity 1.5, but I'm reluctant to use beta software, especially for photos. There is a horde of new Fuji X-T2 users coming who will appreciate it.

Hi Graham,

Welcome to the forums.

We've updated our RAW support for the 1.5 beta, which includes better support for Fuji .RAF files. However the X-T2 isn't officially on the list, X-T2 .RAF files will open but have no EXIF information included, I suspect this will change once the camera has been added to the supported RAW list.

I am one of those new users. Support for compressed RAW would even be better,

Strange, really. When I try to open any .raf file from my Fuji X-Pro2, Affinity Photo quits. Yes, really strange for an app who is supposed to be both the alternative to the Adobe Creative suite. And to be honest, "strange" is not the word I had initially in mind ! But I don't want to be rude... ;)

jmnvro,

Welcome to the Affinity forums. :)

Fuji X-Pro2 RAW files are supported in our latest beta of Photo (1.5 Beta 8), when it's ready this will be available as an update from the Mac App Store.
