Jonopen
Looks like the line width field is too small to accommodate all the numbers. I've also noticed that it’s not possible to enter a value more than 100pt in the context tool bar when using the pencil tool. It is however, possible to override this 100pt limit by entering a larger value in the stroke panel. 1) select pencil tool2) draw a 1pt line and whilst line still selected3) enter a line width value larger than 100pt in the context toolbar, for example 200pt4) notice it reverts to 100pt 5) it's not possible to drag the width slider beyond 100pt (see screenshot) v2.5.3 Designer/Photo/Publisher | Mac mini (M1, 2020) | Sonoma 14.
Chris_K
Thanks dadesign I've logged this issue for the development team. Unfortunately I'm unable to replicate your issue Jonopen in build 17, it seems to behave fine for me Cheers Serif Europe Ltd - Check the latest news at www.affinity.serif.com

Staff Sean P Posted September 14, 2016 Staff Share Posted September 14, 2016 Hi Jonopen,What are the document properties for the tin can man file in your video? I am sort of seeing your issue but with an A4 and A3 document mine goes to a maximum of 283.5pt (which means I can't see the slider issue you are having as well).Would if be possible for you to attach your 'tin can man' file? Thanks!
Jonopen
Hi Sean, file attached (warts 'n' all). I can however replicate the same behaviour with all existing and new files. With regard to the slider, sometimes the size indicator is actually correct in the sense that it is positioned at the far right when it first shows 100pt, but once it has been dragged to the left, it can no longer be dragged to the right beyond the point shown in the video clip. Not sure if it's relevant, but I have Windows scaling set to 125%, but the all system fonts are set to the default size. tin can man.afdesign v2.5.3 Designer/Photo/Publisher | Mac mini (M1, 2020) | Sonoma 14.
Staff Sean P Posted September 14, 2016 Staff Share Posted September 14, 2016 Thanks for that Jon!I've been able to reproduce the issue in a new SVGA 800x600 72dpi file. I was also able to replicate the slider issue how you mentioned it the second time around (initially far right, but sticks to the middle once dragged).I'll get this reported. Staff Sean P Posted October 26, 2016 Staff Share Posted October 26, 2016 Thanks Dadesign,I've reproduced this - i'll get it reported to development. EDIT: It seems Chris did report it, however it appears the fix only came through for the Mac version. I've reported it to the Windows development team now so should hopefully get fixed soon! :)
