I assume that I've missed the "Don't use the old filename when exporting as pdf" button, but I can't find it.

Example attached, the afpub filename is 123-former-name-afpub.afpub. I export the file from Publisher as a pdf with the filename abc.pdf and I expect the name in chrome to be abc.pdf, not 123-former-name-afpub

I've searched and found this post, but I can't find the Fields panel, I assume it's a V1.x panel.

What am I doing wrong? How can I force the pdf to only retain the filename I give it at export, not the internal afpub name?
(No, Save As with the new filename is not a solution I would consider)

(Edit: The panel is in Window -> References -> Fields. Changing the Title field changes the name in Chrome)

It's hiding in Window > References along with several other reference types.

For me, that does not open what your screenshot shows on my Mac -- it just goes to the Affinity Online Help main page at https://affinity.help.

What works for me is https://affinity.help/publisher2/en-US.lproj/index.html?page=pages/Panels/fieldsPanel.html&title=Fields panel

Ah, thanks. Changing the name there changed the Chrome name.

As for the rest of the comments, I have no comment.
