Paul Hodson Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Being ever so slightly cheesed off with Adobe - bought a new PC and I can't install CS6 which I normally use I thought I would give Affinity a try before committing to £240 a year to Adobe! Downloaded the trial - which appears to be Designer. How do I access the Photo 2 application please? I've probably missed something more than a little obvious! Quote
Pšenda Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Download the Trial version for APhoto. PaulEC Posted March 15 Posted March 15 You used to be able to have a free trial for each app, but now I can only find it for the whole suite (and that's only for 7 days!) https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/trial/ Maybe it just takes a bit more searching, but Serif don't seem to make it easy! Paul Hodson Posted March 15 Author Posted March 15 Indeed! And I’ve searched and searched! Thing is, I have installed the whole trial suite but don’t seem to be able to load Photos - just Designer itself. May be me of course… ☺️ Quote

Note that (I think!) the trial for each app starts from the first time you start the app, not on the date you download them. So if you only start say AP you have 7 days to test it, but you still have separate 7 day trials for the others. 3 hours ago, Pšenda said: https://store.serif.com/en-gb/get/photo-2/trial/ Similarly, replacing "photo" with "designer" or "publisher" links to the trials for them. It is weird that the main trial link doesn't offer any of these. PaulEC Posted March 15 Posted March 15 They certainly seem much keener to get people to buy immediately, rather than making it easy for them to sign up for a free trial! – FWIW: The 14 day refund is actually a legal requirement in the UK.
