MvmL Posted March 12 Posted March 12 I have full licenses of all three and they're all installed. I've used all programs multiple times and updated them all to the same (most recent) version. I'm also logged in to my affinity account on all three. I can use Designer 2 through Publisher but not Photo. I'm using Windows 11. I've also restarted multiple times and updates Windows. Quote
PaulEC Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Are you sure the install types are all the same, all MSIX or all MSI/EXE, not a mix? MvmL Posted March 12 Author Posted March 12 Yes. I just today updated all with the same install type. Quote

I am no Windows expert but from what I have read, doing this might have installed the other version (MSIX if you already had MSI, or visa versa; resulting in both versions being installed -- installing one does not delete the other. So possibly check to make sure you just have one version of each app installed. walt.farrell Posted March 13 Posted March 13 @MvmL: It would be useful to confirm what version you have installed. In the Windows Start menu, if you click All Apps, what entries do you have for the Affinity applications? If you have multiple entries for Affinity Photo 2, or Designer 2, or Publisher 2, then you have installed both the MSI/EXE and the MSIX versions, which can cause issues. Even if you have only one entry for each of the applications, it is possible to have a mix of installer types, which will also cause problems. If you right-click on an entry in the Start menu, and you have an option to Move the application to another drive, that's a sign it was installed using the MSIX version of the installer. So, please make sure that all 3 apps have that option, or all 3 do not have it. You can also run each application, and in the Account dialog the displayed information in the upper-right corner will indicate which version and (for windows) what kind of installer was used, if you know how to interpret it. A screenshot of just that part of the Account display for each application would be useful in diagnosing what's happening. (But please make sure not to include sensitive information like your email address, if it's displayed in that dialog.) I will try uninstalling all software and reinstalling with the same installer type. walt.farrell 1 Quote
