erdi12 Posted February 1 Posted February 1 If a document is linked or embedded with a clipping mask in a base document, pixels that should actually be hidden appear at the edges of the inserted document. My guess is that these artifacts arise from converting the resolution to the target document. Example is attached. Affinity Photo 2.5.7 Test2.afphoto Quote

You perhaps need to check the edges of your embedded document... lepr Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Not a bug. The embedded document is 850.393701 x 566.929134 pixels, but the black region of the mask inside it is precisely 850 px x 566 pixels, which leaves visible slivers of the right edge and bottom edge of the masked object. There are various solutions, one of which is cropping the embedded document's canvas to precisely 850 x 566 px. Quote
erdi12 Posted February 2 Author Posted February 2 Thanks, where can I see such precise document dimension? Quote
lepr Posted February 2 Posted February 2 The displayed precision of each unit of measurement can be adjusted in the UI section of the app Preferences/Settings. In Affinity Photo, only the Crop Tool will show the real size of the canvas, as far as I know. For example, the Pan Tool (hand icon) will display the size rounded down to whole pixels. In Affinity Designer and Affinity Publisher, the Document Setup will show the real size of the page/canvas. Quote
