alanbrownone Posted January 20 Posted January 20 I use two monitors for my work setup. Occasionally, I may have a system crash, or my second monitor shuts down (rarely, but it does happen). I typically place specific palettes on my second monitor and have everything exactly where I want it. When there is some hiccup between the two monitors, all of my palettes get jumbled on my primary monitor, and then I have to go back and move things over to the second monitor. While this isn't a big deal, it's an annoyance since, in my Adobe years, I could save that setup and return to it in a single click. I know this was the case for InDesign, but it was also true for Illustrator and Photoshop. I haven't discovered a way to save my configuration to return to (or, for that matter, have multiple configurations for multiple types of projects). Am I missing something? Is the feature there, or is this something you might consider in a future update? Quote
alanbrownone Posted January 20 Author Posted January 20 I forgot to say that this was a request in Publisher in particular but would also be welcome in Photo and Designer. Quote

alanbrownone Posted January 21 Author Posted January 21 Thank you but that did not work for me. I have the snapping palette, resource manager, guides manager, and font manager palettes all on my left external monitor. I created the preset and then created one that had nothing on the left monitor. When I went to select my preset for both monitors, nothing happened and I had to manually set up the palettes all over again. Maybe I am missing something? --Alan Quote

Sadly none of those windows are saved in the Presets. They are turned on and off with the menu. You may want to set up some keyboard shortcuts for those. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
